About Us
This Halloween Art Guide for Spellbound Collectors is a partnership of Jorene Lomenzo, Shivers of Delight blog and Kristen Stafford, The Halloween Art and Travel Podcast.

The site provides biographies from Halloween artists along with the history of Halloween art shows that have helped the Halloween art movement grow into a year-round passion for spellbound collectors. In addition, we host essays about Halloween art collecting, documenting collections, and the growth of the movement from a variety of authors as well as provide news and updates about Halloween artists, shows, events, and publications.
Kristen and Jorene, both avid collectors of Halloween art, struggled with documenting their growing collections and finding a place dedicated to information on Halloween art. In spring 2024, they began to conjure a website they dreamed of visiting.​​
Jorene
Jorene Lomenzo began her Shivers of Delight blog in July 2014 as a way to track her favorite Halloween artists, authors, and spooky events because she truly has a terrible memory. The posts are quick visits directly to artists’ shops and feature a few of Jorene’s favorite pieces. Readers will also find a perpetual calendar of spooky events on the Ghoulish Days page. It is a place for Halloween art enthusiasts to visit and learn about the ever growing community of Halloween artists and keep the spirit of Halloween alive all year long.
Kristen
Kristen Stafford , is a self proclaimed Halloweenist, and producer/host of the Halloween Art and Travel Podcast. She has collected original Halloween art for over two decades. As her collection grew, so did her desire to find out the stories behind obsessed creators and collectors. Kristen's podcast was born in 2018, and focuses exclusively on visual Halloween Art with a splash of travel. It has inspired Halloween fans to become active collectors and has become a studio companion for artists.
