Anna Allen is a doll artist who finds inspiration in her Appalachian roots and old-time Halloween art. She creates visual narratives with her dolls, each one telling a unique story.
Anna has always been the creative type. When she started making cornhusk dolls, she quickly realized cornhusks were her preferred medium. Each doll is a one-of-a-kind original, and her favorite characters to create are witches. She likes to give them a whimsical, spooky look and creates their accessories or finds them in nature.
Anna has been interviewed by Kristen Stafford for the Halloween Art & Travel podcast and has had her dolls featured in Autumn Brilliance magazine.
