Cindy DeGraw, based in northeastern Kansas, is the artist and visionary behind Moonlit Dog Studio, a spacious home studio featuring dedicated areas for multiple mediums and a Gothic parlor designed to rest the creative mind. Her studio reflects her imagination and craftsmanship, where old-world charm and modern creativity coexist.

For Cindy, Halloween is more than a season—it is a lifestyle. An avid collector of vintage Halloween decor and gargoyles, including one over six feet tall, she channels this passion into her artwork, blending the macabre and the mystical.

An award-winning professional doll artist, Cindy is known for her expressive, one-of-a-kind creations. Her original handmade art dolls have received multiple Professional Doll Makers Gold and Judges’ Choice Awards, and her work has been collected internationally, traveling as far as Denmark. She is also among the original artists to transform vintage, mass-produced dolls into her signature one-of-a-kind Creepy Collectibles dolls—haunting, character-driven creations with unique backstories that blur the line between creation and resurrection, some sold to collectors as far away as England.

Her professional background spans art direction, screen and print design, photography, and illustration. She has owned successful businesses, including a sign and vehicle graphics company serving clients such as Applebee’s, Pizza Hut, Hallmark Cards, Children’s Mercy Hospital, and major car dealerships. She has also taught fine art, inspiring creativity in students of all ages.

Cindy’s artistic practice spans painting, sculpture, ceramics, and assemblage, often exploring dark, enchanted themes inspired by folklore, the dark arts, and the natural world. She has participated in numerous exhibitions and is currently represented at multiple galleries in Kansas and Missouri.

When not in the studio, she remains active in animal welfare, exploring the paranormal, and attending oddities art shows. She also enjoys visiting historic architecture, cemeteries, and art galleries—always seeking inspiration for her next creation.
