LeeAnn Kress is the Californian artist behind Charmed Confections. Don’t let the name fool you. Her art is not edible, rather whimsical, candy colored sculptures and dolls created sweetly for you, the collector. All of her art pieces are hand sculpted down to the tiniest detail from a variety of clays and adorned with a little sugar & spice.

She has always had a love of fanciful things and anything Halloween! Her pieces are created on that concept being either spooky, sweet or a little of both. LeeAnn’s bitter sweet confections are intended to bring added joy to your holiday fine art collection.

Each piece starts out as a lump of clay. Her mediums are an array of paper and epoxy clays with an inner armature for support and stability. The piece is sanded silky smooth, painted, stained and sealed for protection. The materials used are of the highest quality.

She started making dolls at a very young age. Her artistic endeavors have taken her through several mediums such as porcelain, polymer/paper clay, and a variety of other clays and resins. In 2017, LeeAnn became a licensed artist with Bethany Lowe Designs and her holiday art reproductions can be purchased in specialty stores around the world. Over the past years, LeeAnn’s original art has been featured in several holiday and doll magazines. Her favorite publication is Autumn Brilliance.
