Known as "The Halloween Lady", Nancy Malay looks at her work from an angle where Halloween can be both vintage inspired and hauntingly magical. She tilts her head ever so slightly, seeing things from an enchanted perspective. A be-glittered witch's boot can be the perfect nesting place for a black cat and a group of sweet trick-or-treating folks; evoking the spirit of a Halloween from long ago.

Nancy captures the feeling of a merry Halloween with her work. In her Burnsville, MN studio, Nancy creates each piece using paper clay, papier mache, and cloth. She embellishes her work with antique trimmings, glass glitter, and tinsel for the perfect finishing touch.

Nancy and her work have been celebrated and honored across the country, being published 65+ times. She has designed projects for Better Homes & Gardens for 15 years, with her work being featured on the cover 8 times. She has also been named one of the country's top artisans by "Early American Life" magazine. Nancy participated in Ghoultide Gathering, has been selling her artwork for over 40 years, and has been licensed with 4 giftware companies. These days, Nancy creates exclusively designed one-of-a-kind characters, ornaments, and decorative elements.
