As a teen, Colleen Moody found a true love of hand stitching and began making primitive soft dolls. Over time her admiration for vintage and antique fabrics, trims, laces and her additional love of antique shopping and flea markets enabled her to bring all those wonderful old pieces into her studio and she began creating vintage-style folk art dolls with a Victorian feel. Colleen’s favorite era to study what people wore is the Victorian Era. She has a wonderful collection of books to refer to when creating new pieces.
Colleen's work has been featured on the cover of Art Doll Quarterly, Somerset studio and has been in the pages of Prim’s, Marie, Live Artfully Magazine and Danville Weekly.
