Marianna Nardin was born in Venice, Italy. She has always had a passion for art, especially for sculpture. She studied Fine Arts and Fashion Design at the Academy of Arts in Venice and fashion in Milan. During her studies she learned different techniques of painting, sculpting and sewing. She started creating dolls at a young age when she discovered the magic of paper clay in 1999. The “Circus of Lost Dolls” is her creation which include pieces designed for Halloween, Christmas, and Easter.
Her first creations were inspired by fairies, trolls, and gnomes. Over the years she admired many talented artists online and became passionate about Art Dolls. Marianna started creating dolls in her spare time, but it quickly turned into a full-time activity.
