Stacey Walsh is a 3rd generation artist from Upstate New York. She spent much of her youth traveling and living on different military bases. In between those times, her famioly would live with her grandparents in a sleepy little village on the NY/VT line. Next door was a funeral parlor, and there were a few cemeteries alon the slate sidewalks. The Adirondacks, old headsstones, and early American history of the area nudges and keeps her inspired. Stacey's work often mashes times periods with a touch of whimsy and always comes with a whisper of the past.
